At our last committee meeting, I brought you a tentative call for approval for the 59th House District. Even with prior approval from party officials, a legal matter forced a date change. The details are as follows:
The mass meeting to select Delegates for the Convention will be held on July 23rd. at Hyland Heights B/C. The time of the meeting is 6:00 PM. Registration begins at 5:30. If you want to become a Delegate for Campbell Co, your prefile is due to me by Friday, July 22rd at 5:00 PM. The official call and the prefile forms can be printed from the RPV site. As you will recall, I sought a secondary motion to administer the affairs of this call relating to the necessary arrangements of finance, venue, change orders, newspaper advertising, and other such required arrangements. BOS Charles Falwell carried the motion, and a due second was given by Henry Enochs. Your authorization allowed me to execute the changes on behalf of our committee.
Mrs. Morris requested that the call info be sent to all the members of the unit when all the details were finalized. Thank you all for your interest in this race. The call will also appear in Thursday’s News & Advance.
