As polls close all across the nation many conservatives are breathing a sigh of relief and some are dancing in the streets…literally! Here in Chatham, VA at the Victory center, people are positively giddy. As the polls were reporting there were often cheers. When Fox News called the race a WIN for Hurt the crowd went nuts, chanting “Robert ‘Hurt’ – Per ri ello”.
Robert Hurt has beaten Tom Perriello 51% to 47% and Jeff Clark came in with 2% (shocker)
Congressman Elect, Robert Hurt thanked his supporters and vowed to bring “real” change to Washington DC.
In his Speech he said “I don’t believe that Americas greatest days are behind us…I think they are right in front of us”
It is not often that I must admit I was wrong. However, In this case I was. The Republican strategist from sea to shining sea stuck to a plan run stealth campaigns. The idea was to keep the Democrats home. The ole “If you don’t fire up the Hornets they will usually leave you alone” theory. I disagreed with this strategy openly. I don’t disagree with the Tea Party doing the opposite though.
Congratulations to Robert Hurt.
Thank God Tommy the Commie is gone. I’ll take wagers on how fast he will high tail it back to New York, and to Uncle George.
Congratulations Robert Hurt. We will be watching, and expecting to see you keep to your campaign promises.
If Jeff Clark every has any designs on running for political office in the future, it better be with a D after his name.

Since Tommy wrecked his pick-up truck while helping to wreck our economy, I say we mobilize a convoy of trucks to DC to help Tommy and his minions pack their contaminated DC office belongings. (We’ll probably need to watch while they and the other socialist losers pack so they will not have one last opportunity to steal from the American people as Clinton’s people did in 2001 before George Bush moved in to the White House.)
Let’s hope that Hurt will take one thing from Jeff Clark, and that is the Fair Tax. We still need it, and Robert would do well to get on board behind it. Congratulations, and good luck to Mr. Hurt.
