Business Leaders Endorse Verga
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – Laurence Verga GOP candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District has received the endorsement of two prominent business leaders and a noted economist. The endorsements came from:
• James Hyde former CEO of UK T-Mobile and current CEO and President of nTelos Holdings
• Ms. Carol Hallett, former US Ambassador to the Bahamas and current Counselor to the US Chamber of Commerce
• Professor of Economics, Dr. Thomas Rustici, author of the book, “Lessons of the Great Depression
All three individuals who endorsed Verga believe strongly that the United States is heading down a very dangerous road and an immediate shift in policy is needed to protect our economy and ultimately citizens across the country from an even worse economic situation than the one we face today.
“I am thrilled to have received the endorsement of Ms. Hallett, Mr. Hyde and Professor Rustici. As I have said, America Works when the government sets policy that allows the entrepreneurial spirit of the American people to flourish and thrive. High taxes, exorbitant federal spending and burdensome regulation do nothing but to destroy jobs and personal initiative. Ms. Hallett, Mr. Hyde and Professor Rustici are experts when it comes to our economy and I am proud to have their trust and support, said Verga.
In his endorsement of Laurence Verga, Mr. Hyde state, “We have far too many politicians in DC, it is time to send someone there who has the necessary business acumen to get our economy headed in the right direction. Having first hand experience with running a business, creating jobs, and feeling the the direct impact of poor economic policy has prepared Laurence to help make the right decisions to get the government out of our businesses and let the private sector restore our economy.”
Verga concluded, “On June 8th, we can make a choice to elect someone with real world economic experience that has created jobs and fixed broken companies for a living. I ask Republicans around the 5th Congressional District for your support.”

He’s still running? How much is he paying the yes-men around him? This guy should have walked away months ago.
It’s interesting that Dr. Rustici endorsed Verga. I wonder what the connection is there, seeing as Rustici is a Professor at George Mason University.
Verga should realize it is over but im sure his campaign manager is keeping him in so he can keep a paycheck coming in.He may be getting one from Verga and Hurt.
will: prove that Verga’s campaign manager is getting a paycheck from another campaign. good grief. stop with the tall tales.
Kelley Please read what I said again.I said he MAY be getting a paycheck from another campaign.I never said I knew he was.
