Hurt= LOSER didn’t get 50% of the vote
52% of Republican DIDN’T WANT HURT

McKelvey = BIGGER LOSER spent a fortune to lose and his campaign manager Brian O’Whatever took a winner and turned him into a loser.

Verga THE BIGGEST LOSER OF ALL – spent about $240 per vote LOSER. Makes McKelvey’s $30 per vote look like they were smart.

Morton and Boyd should have bowed out six months ago. LOSERS

The only two I respect are Ferrin and McPadden. They did great with the money they had. Ferrin only spent about $6 per vote and McPadden spent about $10 per vote.

But I stayed home I voted absentee for Feda too early because I knew I was going to be out of town. I am a LOSER too. Should have voted for someone else.

LOL! Thanks for ending my day with a great laugh. Your last line was the best.

Arlen, $10/vote is about right for a congressional campaign. If you are spending more than that your money is being wasted somwhere. That is however very hard not to do when its your first campaign. Congressman who have held a seat for a long time figure out ways to spend less because they need less voter contact to have the same impact. They also get more freebies from the news, papers, etc. to have their face seen.

I am not surprised by this at all, it is right in line with that last poll… basically the anti-establishment voters were split between a lot of candidates and Hurt has a lot more experience at this process.

I am not excited by this news, but I will support Hurt in November. He has a conservative record, if we make our voices heard to him that we will hold him accountable, we might get someone that cares about our interests in Washington come November.
