    Thanks this was really needed.

It would be interesting to know how many people actually voted (in addition to the percentage). Is there a polldaddy option that you can set? Thanks.

Stephen, ask and you shall receive.

Ahh, thanks. Good job on this web site btw.

might be nice to see some figures large enough for statistical significance…

    Are radio hosts contacted?

Why not announce the poll? e.g. WCHV

some interference would still provide name recognition and would surely not skew the results more than a pitiful 68 responses

but why limit to talk radio?

same for Danville, Lynchburg, Appomattox, South Boston, Halifax, Gretna, WKBY Chatham, Altavista et al.

Go ahead! Be bold! Be at least 20th Century. Let your fingers do the walking (-:

better than the tree that falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it

Hey Ed, thanks for your interest. Since you seem to have lots of time to write up a comment here I’m sure you have no problem contacting the radio stations and whoever else you’d like to. Being that it is day one and the poll was started at 12 noon I’m not surprised that there are only 68 responses so far. At least you can see the number of responses unlike the last wchv poll.

    LOL

    I am not a web promoter;

just a poor working stiff with at present a marginal interest in the candidates.

I thought there was a RINO.org with real time campaign experience to take advantage of opportunities like this and coordinate (-:

    Guess not.

Wow, Boyd is really “dropping the hammer”.

Leading this and the WCHV poll with 30%.

My only complaint about that poll is I’d like to see the number of voters.

  10. Stephen May 13, 2010 at 12:43 pm #

You getting a lot of voters in your poll.

Do you know how many people typically vote in a primary like this?

  11. Watch Dog May 15, 2010 at 11:50 am #

Impressive turnout by boyd’s supporters so far.

  12. Aaron May 15, 2010 at 3:32 pm #

Have any of the candidates done real polling with a telephone survey and a professional instrument? Would be interesting to see voter support numbers on a variety of issues.

I also wonder who has the RNC email list for the 5th district. We could do a semi-accurate survey with it.. But even it would have massive margin for error.. All it takes is one candidate to ask people to fill it out and bam they look like the leader (like Boyd on this poll)

Looks like Ken Boyd has quite active cyber supporters. McP, and Mck, not doing too bad, but need to pick it up some.

I do hear rumors of some polling being done by some real polling organizations within the next couple weeks. It will be very interesting to see that. I would also really like to see some of the internal polling. I suspect it is being done, but no one is talking.

June 8th can’t get here soon enough for me. I am ready to turn our attention to the real problem, and stop with this internal stuff.

Please remember that there is another debate of the Republican 5th Congressional District candidates being held on May 25th at the Liberty University School of Law.

There will be a poll taken that night with the results posted afterwards at http://www.vote-america.org

The debate starts at 7 P.M. in the Supreme Court room

I received an email today to vote in a poll from polldaddy that runs every week. I cannot find it on the website. The only poll is the one that ended 17 May. What gives?

  17. Watch Dog May 24, 2010 at 9:31 am #

That poll closed on the 17th. We are not running another poll right now.
