Taking Back the Republican Party

It is time to take back the Republican party here in the fifth district. How in the world did we end up with Tom Perriello as our Congressman? The Republican party in the fifth district dropped the ball, and Perriello wafted in on Obama’s vapors. If your local unit chairman is running the show like a hobby it’s time for him/her to go!

In the Commonwealth it is easier than you think to replace the current GOP leadership. The problem we now face is a problem of time. In order for true conservatives that care about the future of the Republican party in Virginia to effect change we must act NOW. This is a hard request to make. One that involves time, money and talent.

It is a necessary move that we undertake in order to oust moderate (liberal) elements from within the GOP. Those elements that support Tarp, Cap and Trade, or tax and spend “establishment” candidates. Those same people that do not stand up strong against establishment politics (Tucker Watkins and the NRCC ) that want to force a primary vote when there is overwelming support for a convention.

It is almost time to elect new leadership across the entire GOP of Virginia. This will likely happen at a meeting in February. This gives you ONE MONTH to become a “voting member” of the county unit.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Step One: Find out when the next Republican “Unit” meeting is going to be held in the county you live in and GO TO IT. Drop everything that might get in the way of that for the next 2 months (we are talking about 2 hours of your life per month to play an active roll in local politics. ) and make it a priority Visit http://fifthdistrictgop.com/ to get the contact information for your local unit.

Step Two: Join ( cost is around$15.00/yr ) You will need an application. Contact your unit chairman in advance and have the application  and check ready to turn in when you go to the meeting.

Step Three: Find someone that can run as a replacement candidate for chairman or run yourself.

Step Four: Recruit at least 5 others that can do the same as you and have them join.

Typically with just 20 to 30 people on your side you can ensure proper leadership is running the show here in the 5th district.

Once you replace the chairman find suitable leaders that can fill the rolls needed in your local unit.

Now wasn’t that easy…well it could be.
